What is Rotary
Rotary’s motto is simple, but not small: Service Above Self. It means using our time, skills, relationships, and resources to help others.
At its best, Rotary is practical community service without the fog machine. We identify needs, bring people together, and get useful things done.
Rotary clubs work in their own communities while also contributing to international projects through Rotary’s global network.
That can mean supporting youth programs, community projects, scholarships, food security, health initiatives, peacebuilding, and more.

The Rotary Club of Winnipeg-Assiniboine is a local service club based in Winnipeg. We meet, plan, fundraise, volunteer, and support projects that strengthen our community.
We are part of the larger Rotary family, but our work starts here — with neighbours, local needs, and practical service.
Rotary is for people who want to contribute, meet others, and be part of something useful. You do not need to have all the answers. Frankly, nobody does. That is why clubs exist.
